Reality Check

I'm not in Kansas anymore... okay not in the OBX anymore. Back to uncivilization. I wish so much that I could totally afford to live somewhere near water, be it sea, bay, ocean, sound... whatever just get me near enough to smell it and a short car drive to see it!

I'm reading an old book that was given to me for my birthday after I went in search of it at Borders and could not find it. Written in 1973 by John Godey it's being made into a movie for the second time... this version featuring Samuel L Jackson and one of my favorites John Travolta! So of course when I saw it was a book first I had to read it. It's very good, even though I don't enjoy male writers so much... it's very good. I would venture to say that when the movie comes out we will see the book re-released, and I suggest it as a great action read. I think I will next read Angels and Demons the illustrated version... even though I have 3 new hand sell items I should read. My heart is not in it as I'm am currently awaiting my release from work. Sometime in the next week I'll be told I have to have complete flexibility with my schedule as a member of management... and we all know working opposite of the T-man that is not possible, if I'm lucky I'll be given a part-time position with maybe 10 hrs a week.

Yup back to uncivilization and reality!
